Carson Valley Health Hospital has an open visitation policy on all patient units.
Visiting is allowed at all times unless the patient’s condition requires otherwise or the patient or physician requests restrictions. Physicians who implement visiting restrictions for medical reasons must tell staff on the patient unit and make note of the restrictions on the patient’s record.
Quiet hours for all units are from 9PM to 7AM. During this time, it is expected that departments will keep this environment quiet. This includes:
After hours, visitors may enter through the emergency department. Security or other available staff will escort visitors to and from a patient’s room.
