Carson Valley Health's vision is to strengthen our community by providing accessible, affordable, high-quality healthcare to all. Hand-in-hand with that vision, we have constructed an annual Community Wellness Program focused on helping members of our community improve their health through affordable wellness screenings, health education courses and resources, and youth- and senior-specific programs.
Carson Valley Health is dedicated to the health of our community. We know the value of preventative services and strive to offer you affordable services that can improve your health and quality of life.
Our community wellness screenings are designed to offer community members a convenient and affordable way to get a baseline assessment of their health.
The following screenings are offered Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm on a walk-in basis. No appointment or physician order is necessary. Insurances will not be billed for these discounted screenings
Register at the CVH Registration Desk at our facility at 1107 Highway 395 in Gardnerville for these services whenever it's convenient for you.
Screenings refer to tests or exams that are necessary to diagnose a variety of conditions and diseases. Screening tests may help find diseases or conditions early, when they are easier to treat. We recommend getting the necessary screening tests for conditions such as cancer and diabetes, if you are at risk or if you are of a certain age (for instance, women over 40 typically need mammograms to detect breast cancer even before a woman has any symptoms). Getting routine health screenings is one of the most important things you can do to protect your health.
